G'day champions, how's it all going out there? What a week, spent a couple of days down in the rivers and came home with a couple of stonking trout. Always good to bag a couple of good ones. Had my birthday on the river with good mates and my ex wife Kathy. Actually went out to dinner with both which was even nicer. Did the DGR after a fashion and met up with some old friends that I hadn't seen for quite a while. That was really good. Smoked the trout and am now sitting here doing this. I have to say I am in a bit of a quandary... I had a mate turn up here the other day on a new motorcycle, an adventure motorcycle, and I really liked the look of the bike. So after taking the dog for a long beach walk I found myself in the BMW shop looking at the new F900GS. So it might be time to approach all the BMW dealers and see what best price I can get. Now if you've been here a while you will know how much I rate the F800GS. So what to do. I love the Multistrada and 95% of my riding is road where as the BMW is perhaps a little bit more gravel/adventure focused. Sure the 900 would do all the roads easy, I dont need to be going at 160 kph all day, so that's not a consideration. So what to do? I must say having owned so many motorcycles ( over 125 now) I've been right where I am now a lot. I know when things are going to change, I can hear my self rationalizing every decision regarding the change in my head. I can feel a little hop in my step knowing that perhaps, just perhaps soon I will have another bike in the barn.

One bike that is staying in the barn

Indian Larry, shortly afetr this image was captured, he fell off and died of a brain injury. They all said he was such a cool guy.

I do have a soft spot for these.

I wonder where my one is now?

The wonders of AI.

It's just so busy these days.

It was very simple when I were a lad.

Bruce is still kicking along, a testament to the strength of the guy.

MotoGP bikes are next level, pity their stands aren't up to the same. I mean positively archaic. Where's, the pneumatics, the single push button electric hoists ( that are saving they planet because they are electric). Bent tube and rubber wheels pffft, c'mon.

Anyways that 's all for this time. Hope you enjoyed it. See you all again soon.
