So here we are again. It's late at night, I've just got back from a day in Wellington doing more trial stuff. The lads are way down south enjoying each others company and some of the best adventure riding this world has to offer. They all look dusty and muddy , tired, and happy.. The weather does not look that good from here on in, so maybe a blessing in disguise. You should all know my extreme aversion to riding in the rain. Si there's a weather bomb just about to launch itself on the south island and the lads are on the West Coast at present. I know that they will be ok, all very capable riders that's for sure. So what to do, I've missed out on the trip, so I guess I'll head to Melbourne and see my daughter who is about to become a mum for the first time. That should be interesting. The MotoGP was interesting this weekend past. Marc Marquez  sure knows his rules that's for sure. Those games on the start finish line were pretty bloody interesting. The games with Liam Lawson have also been interesting to follow that's for sure. I do hope that the young fellah gets his act back together and shows everyone just why he is where he is. I must admit to be getting pretty pissed of with the keyboard warriors, shit some of the stuff is bloody cruel. I just hope he keeps his head up and shows everyone what he is made of., He's a Kiwi after all..

That's a big gap between the engine and the tank.

What craftsmanship.

My love affair with the Stratos started when I had to deliver an original one from Central London to somewhere down in Devon. Shit is was brutal, loud, rattily, so un everything, but it had ne transfixed for years to come. It is a memory I will never ever forget. I have been blessed with things sometimes.

A view not everyone will get to see or appreciate.

A friend of mine on his Vincent a little while back.

I bought this a few years ago wished I still had it.

Quite a handsome motorcycle. Love the duck tail

You can get anything you want at Alice's restaurant

Beautiful work

;

Unfortunately this helmet was stolen a couple of years ago. I miss this one.

Power , you have to love it.

This team certainly shook up the paddock ( literally).

More Lizard shots from the last ride.

Yamaha are certainly trying hard with their new bikes. Take the badge off of it and put a Ducati one on, and everyone would be drooling, well done I say.
One I prepared earlier.

A lot of you ask me why I include images of great looking food in the blog. Well to me, the days riding isn't complete until you've had a great meal and are all sitting around enjoying a whiskey or two and talking about the day. So many great conversations are had over a meal, and you may as well have great food to go with that. So for me this is just as important as a good days ride. And quite often the days ride and the atmosphere of the evening all getting together just makes the food that much better. memories that will last a long time. Which is why I cant fucking stand Indian food. There are no good memories that comes out of a plate of food that looks like it's already been digested and squirted into the bottom of a white bowl. Safe your body the effort and throw that shit straight into the toilet. Give me lashings of roast meats, fresh sih, and roasted vegetables any day.

Got sent these images from a reader the other day. A very nice line up of Ducatis

The group I normally ride with "The Lizards", on their trip down south. Sorry that i missed this, it sounds like a lot of fun. Actually on the way down the lads were stopped by the Local Poo Poo and said that someone had sent through a dash cam of the bikes over taking on yellows. The Poo Poo only had two plates in the video, but then proceeded to take all number plates and rego's and warrants i an attempt to discover more from the dash cam video. I'm not entirely happy about that situation as it doesn't seem quite legal to me, but keep an eye out for any updates on that.

These bikes were soooo much fun. I miss mine that's for sure.

See my previous comment re food. This is what it's all about

Love this image of me back int day. First time on slicks too. I was amazed at the grip levels, which exposed so many other issues in suspension. I've forgotten about most of that stuff now haha. Leathers are pre crash and signed by Marco Luchinelli.

Well that appears to be about all for this time. I'm not entirely sure if its a big issue or whether there are repeats in it, but there you go. It's time for me to head off down to the pub. See you all in a few weeks when the next one is ready.
