Well, it's time for the next post, I suppose. Been busy boiling away on the MHR, you're all probably getting tired of me sayting that, but it's back at paint, and I'm kind of stuck on that one. So the NCR is up on the stand and is in the middle of dismantle. A process that I enjoy, always been really good at pulling things apart, but having just done the MHR, I understand the process. Having said that I nearly had a mare last week with the MHR, decided to put the front guard in and needed to remove the front wheel, well that turned into a topple, a grab, a wrenched back and about 1/2 an hour of major panic while I steadied the bike, got the stand back under it and saved the day. Note to self, do not use that front wheel stand ever again. So off to Wellington again next week, the next round of check ups, scans and bloods. It's an on going process, but at least I can say it's on going eh? So whats been happening in the motorcycle world, it has to be said not much, this years plethora of new models are all out, and to be honest fairly Ho hum lot it is too. The only real light ( and this is my opinion only), is the V4 street fighter, I do like the look of that. The new Guzzi....well yeah, nah. The Katana, well don't even get me started on that a definite nah. BMW seem to be producing some nice prototypes, but nothing really translated to the road as yet. Even the customizing side seems a bit quiet. Probably all out riding in the Northern heatwaves, lucky bastards. So enough rambling, go grab a bourbon, or whiskey, put the fire on, grab some re-runs of the MotoGP settle back and enjoy. See you all next week.
If you haven't tried it , you should who would have thought eh? Prosciutto, strawberry's and Balsamic, just a wonderful taste treat
Just stunning, hard to believe that 1993 was the first year they came out, and only 65 built. That's 26 years ago!!!!
In their own way they are very pretty, a bit like a Killer whale, all fat and round but lethal
One of the nicest roads to ride, you know your getting close to that afternoon beer, and restaurant for the evening
Get me a skewer please
Well Hunwick Hallem must be rolling in their graves, this is not nice
Nothing like V twins eh?
Ouch, that's what you get for wearing a T shirt on your ride.
It really is a Porsche
Still to this day, the nicest styling
Robert taking out the Holden sign Manfield.
I'd give my left nut for one of these
And to finish for the week, nice to see my T Shirts being worn all over the place.
the piccie labelled robert taking out the holden sign is not of that incident, that's vince sharpes cb1100r and maybe rod harris's rd250lc in the same corner as the holden incident, this was taken during a castrol six hour, as a result of this crash they no longer let the 250's in the six hour and went to a separate 2 hr race for them.... still a pretty historic photograph
