G'day champions, .I am not a meditation-type guy, yet when I ride a motorcycle I understand how meditation works.  That’s because I’m one of those people who believe that riding is way more important than where I’m going,  the motorcycle is never just the conveyance, it’s a companion. Nice words taken from Jay Leno in his introduction to Peter Egan's new book. If you haven't heard of Peter Egan, he was a journalist that wrote for Cycle World back in the day. His books Leanings 1, 2, and 3 are quintessential motorcycle must reads. His stories perfectly encapsulate what it is like to ride, breath and live motorcycle riding. Well, I'm nearly in the new home, still have a few boxes to go, but its nearly complete. Started the process of getting my garage designed and built, another exciting project for me to do. Haven't done a building project in years, so looking forward to that. So my lizard companions have all been out riding over the past few weeks, I haven't been able to go, due to not having a garage full of bikes and every bike that I do own is either in a lock up, or away being worked on. I plan on getting the 851 going today ( new battery), and the Diavel is up for new registration plates and warrant. So by the weekend I will have 2 Ducati's to ride. Looking forward to having a Diavel again, I miss the old one, it sure was nice to ride. Maybe now I can keep up with the new Tuono that is in the group haha. I'm planning a ride down South late next month while the garage is being built, and plan on taking the Guzzi. Don't know when, or where I will be going, I'm just going. Haven't been down the new coast road to Kaikoura, so that will be interesting. I plan to get to Wanaka to catch up with some old mates, and then get the Guzzi serviced by Vince when I am down that way. It's been nearly 3 years since I was last that way, so looking forward to an unplanned ride. Well not much else to say, so here's this weeks installment for you all to drool over. enjoy and spread to word. Cheers

What a handsome motorcycle

Doesn't this look nice?

Hmm not too sure, but i can appreciate the work that has gone into it. We don't seem to have the same type of customising like this going on here in NZ, it's massive overseas, but not here.

Yeehaa, over the bar,

Love this image
Road food can be very very good.

Clunk.......

My garage looked exactly like this a few months back. Two very very nice Ducati sitting on the floor

perhaps one of the best looking GT's in the world
Weren't they such great looking bikes, they still look good even today.

They live among us.

These things look fast just sitting there, even without an engine.

This is kind of sad don't you think?

Now that's one mighty fine looking burger, that'd keep you going all day

Sitting in my lounge
This even popped up the other day. I really like this bike

Now that's a lot of Ducati to finish off with.

OK boys and girls that's it for this week, hope you enjoyed your brief moment of motorcycle solitude, see you all next week.
