Well, here we are again, in Lockdown, I hope that they have managed to isolate the outbreak. It's a miserable day here, so I thought that I'd try and catch up a bit. News broke last week that VR46 is going to retire. Shit we have been blessed with some amazing rides from this man, a guy that luck just seemed to shine on. 15 second penalties and wins by 16 that sort of thing. We've had them all really Rainey, Lawson, Doohan, Gardner, Roberts, Schwantz, Marquez, all guys who have defined the epitome of our racing sport. We truly have been blessed to be able to watch these guys at the apex of the sport, and who have all given us many many hours of racing pleasure and couch sessions with our mates discussing the merits of one rider or one race over another. It has been magic. So Rossi is going to retire, but I feel we haven't seen the last of this guy, his abilities will spill over into his team, and we will see more magic from the VR46 name. bring it on. Been up and down this bloody island so many times of late hence the obvious and highly apparent tardiness of the blog, hopefully things will settle down now and I can get on with getting on. Not that I haven't enjoyed the trips, they bring a welcome relief to consents, building and resource, engineers, and fucking garages. But nearly there. Also managed to catch up some old mates and some new while away and do a bit of fishing which is always good. Seen plenty of bikes out and about, and to that man on the dessert Road last week in the snow, well done you, brave as fuck to be out in that weather. One one trip I saw 5 Guzzi's in one day, now that has to be a bit of a record. Speaking of which, my Guzzi is so close to be finished, just in time for a couple of planned Lizard rides coming up. Looking forward to getting out with my friends and going for a couple of rides. I wouldn't miss these rides and these guys for the world. That about sums it up, really, I don't know what I would be doing if it wasn't for the companionship of these blokes, and the joy of these rides. Wouldn't want to stuff that up for the world. So without further adieu here's this weeks missive for you. Enjoy your friends, and your rides, and this blog.
