Hola everyone and welcome back. Done a few miles this week with even more to come. Did a day trip to Wellies and back to drop off my sons bike and to pick up an old mates bike to bring back to Tauranga to be fixed. So that's a thousand K's, and now packing up for a two day slide around the island with some lizards just because we can. Then in a couple of weeks time another slide around down to the Naki with a whole bunch of lizards. Over 25 on that ride which is perhaps a bit too much, not entirely sure about riding in such big groups, you never know what's going to happen, and it makes getting a coffee and gas a bit of a drag when there are so many. Plus there are a couple of new guys on the ride, and you never know what they are going to do on the road in front of, or if they are going to turn, just all those little things that make a ride interesting I suppose. My F1 is coming along well, I am very pleased with how it is turning out, it's nearly all back together with only the wiring and the paint to complete, so it will be up on the market very soon. I'm installing the loom today and trying to recall how it all hooked up. had to change a few connectors and spades, but that's what you get with a bike that is 36 years old. Shit 36 years, I remember when they came out $13000. My mate Tim bought one the same week I bought my Paso which was the same price. When we used to ride together you could hear the engines ( being the same) kind of sync together and you would get a pulsing thrum from the engines. Don't know if any of you have ever experienced that before. So anyways enough prattling,

As an add on to this, just did a real nice ride down to Palmy thanks Mick and Claire the burgers were brilliant, the weather was sensational, visiting Dallas's dads place was totally memorable, the company was the best, the riding was excellent too. It's what this blog is all about, someone said during the trip "livin the dream', and that's the best summarization of this beautiful place we live and ride in. As another add on, add on, it might be time to sell the BMW R Nine T, I realized that I am just a bit too big for it, my knees just about gave up on it, so if anyone is interested give me a call.
