Well, here we are, in a very different world from the start of 2020. I am pleased to see that it is starting to sink in with people finally as to the peril that is this Convid Virus. Admittedly there is some hysteria all wrapped up in how people are reacting, but never the less it is a very serious threat to an awful lot of people. I am one of those people, as I have an almost none existent immune system, and anyone so much as coughs near me and I come down with some sort of cold, flu, influenza, you name it, I catch it. So I am taking this situation very seriously. Just as well I am versed at self isolation. To take the matter further, it looks like I am about to move once again. I've leased this place out to a couple of great guys, and I am moving to Lake Taupo or the southern end of lake Taupo to be precise, a sleepy little hollow called Kuratau. I've had a Bach here before and I just love the area. I've got a place there with a massive garage, so I can continue to restore bikes, and as a bonus fish as well. Visitors might be a bit thin on the ground, but my mates will always come and see me, and hopefully I can get them to sample the delights of what this area has to offer. Our trip to Warbirds and the Long Lunch has been cancelled, some are still going south, but I wont be, due to the virus issue, and also due to the fact that I have to move, so very dissapointed in that, I was really looking forward to it. Just as well I suppose as the Guzzi is not quite ready, still waiting on carbs, but shes looking pretty bloody good, even if I do so say myself. The Waihi hill on that is going to be so much fun, as is most of the roads in that area. Can't wait. So, a message to you all, don't get too hyped up by the Chinese Virus, but be careful, wash your hands as often as you can, keep surfaces clean, and keep people with cold like symptoms as far from you and your kids as possible.
Perhaps I could arrange a short lunch once I am in my new place, it would be good to break the place in with a few whiskeys, and bourbons on the deck.
So for all you people that have been made to work from home, or are forced to take a couple of weeks isolation here's the blog to keep you entertained for a wee while. So I've made this one just a bit bigger for you all. Enjoy
I am really liking this Guzzi, might be time for me to buy another one and do something like this.
Got to get the fish and chips home somehow eh?
Even when tempted with the obvious sexuality of an image like this, I am more drawn to the Ducati tail piece, what an almost perfect tail piece.
You just have to love these bikes

Those that know, will understand the significance of this image
So there you have it, a little bit of time wasting for you all, perhaps it took your mind off of the rest of the world for just a few brief minutes. Be careful please and hopefully once all this shit is done with, we can resume our wonderful lives on motorcycles.
Yes, that last image. Two days ago it was filled to the ceiling with toilet rolls.
