Whoa, another week slips by, and the world seems to be in a mighty mess that's for sure. I just don't get the mentality of people, the idiots who claim this Convid 19 is a sham, the conspiracy theorists who think we are going to be injected with tracking devices,  the inability to decide what is right and what is wrong when dealing with it,  the retards ( and that's a nice word), who think that isolation is above them, and then trying to escape into our communities. I am so glad that we acted so quickly ( even though some say not quick enough) and we have a relatively safe place to live. The people who cried that the lock down would destroy our communities, and ruin our country have all gone quiet. I'll be the first to agree that we possibly haven't seen the worst of it just yet, but we are doing pretty well considering that the rest of the world has gone to shit in a bucket. I watched a rugby game on the TV the other night, and it showed a scene of perhaps 2000 people sitting in the stands, young and old, some drinking beer, most waving flags and banners, every single one of them had a smile a mile wide, and I thought "how good is that, all safe, all enjoying themselves and taking pleasure from the fact that we have managed to beat this bastard thing for now, and all getting on with their lives". On going from that, weekly I read on my facebook page posts of motorcycle groups organizing rides, making plans to travel with friends, and basically getting on with their lifestyle. If the entire world rode motorcycles we would be in a far better place, I'm sure of that. A few hours to get away and forget the troubles, a quiet fang down an empty road, a 6 hour trip from one end of the island to the other, a week tour of roads you've ridden a hundred times, seeing something new and different every time, meeting others who share the passion, a quiet roadside pie, or toasted sandwich and a hot coffee. A moment to enjoy, and to forget. Our country is a lucky place to be, but we on motorcycles are the luckiest.

Not the prettiest Guzzi, I've seen, but as I've said, it's not for us to decide, it's the owners choice and that's all that matters

The flight deck of the Concorde, I'd be like "ohh what does this button do"

Now I do like this one a lot.

In the day, this was the hot set up, I think it would still surprise many today actually

Hmmmmmmmmmm
Don't we miss this, the days when you used to hang out outside the local shop.

  1. Lovely to see some Moto Martin bikes. I used to drool over them back in the 80s..
Mocheck Clapham high street in London were the franchise holders back then and as Kawasaki and Honda dealers They would fit GPZ and CB 900 engines in them along with others.
Great. memories of beautiful bikes. Sadly always a little out of my price range.
