Greetings one and all. I've been trying to get this out for a week or so now, but have been having some issues with Google. All my best intentions to be more regular with the blog have come to naught. Never mind, instead of trying to download 130 images at a time I find myself doing only 40 at a time, and it takes ages. But it is what it is, and I've now got it sorted. Been on a lizard ride this past weekend. It was a bot different to the normal rides, where we based ourselves in Taupo and used that as a base to go out on rides. You know, I've been travelling by bike up and down this country of ours for over 50 years and I have now been on a couple of roads that I didn't even know existed, and nice bike roads at that. There was a lot of conversation on Saturday night about that fact that a lot of us ( 23 in total) had not been on these roads. So that was a bonus. Quiz night as always was a great evening, with lots of shit thrown at each other. A great evening and a good weekend. As you know most of these guys are ex racers ( or still like to think that they are), and the banter is amazing with unheard discussions had about 'pushing the rule book ' back in the day', nudge nudge wink wink. All goes together to make a great weekend away. My new to me Multistrada  sprung a fork seal ( we are talking pools of oil on the ground, on the tyre and all over the discs). I'm putting it down to the bike not being used that much prior to me getting it ( 9000K's) So I had a very slow upright ride home. A bit scary. Apart from that no other mishaps. God I love these multi's, they are such a storming motorcycle, they handle, go like a cut cat, are comfortable and can carry two people and luggage. Pretty much prefect. Speaking of which , so is this blog pretty much prefect, so what are you waiting for get on with it, enjoy

The great Robert Ho9lden working for Phase endurance back in the day.

Scooters are all the rage in Europe.

Had this poster on my wall as a young lad. I was waiting for my TM250 to arrive, so they gave me a poster . I spent hours looking at this image, and the bike delivered in spades. Well worth the wait.

This has me written all over it.

Yooikks, they are getting pretty big now

Hondas new triple, turbo charged engine

I'd never seen this image until a month or so ago. My riders with the bikes and that bus. Haha, it keeps coming back to me.

Robbie Deans, doing what he did so well. What a hard bastard this guy was.

Robert Holden doing what he did so well too.

Now that's a nice shed.

We got third in show. Pretty pumped at this. More images to come of the Sport that I restored for my client Phil

Lizards 1/2 way through the days ride, stopping for lunch at a lodge I did not know existed and I've been past this place several times.
Road food has stepped up a bit since the old sausage roll in Farlie

This little toy goes out and does a lap of the circuit that Ducati are racing on and delivers a 3 D image of the track so that they can plug this into their computers and deliver the optimum balance on their bikes. This is why Ducati are winning at the moment

Lizards getting ready to head out on the ride
Street racing in NZ used to be very relaxed

Hondas new frame for next year

Not that keen on this style of bike, but you have to admire the work that the guys put into them to make them unique.

Assen back in the day. Look at how many bikes there are.

Roadside food is important to every ride and rider

Lean angles have increased dramatically as have body position

For years now, people have been saying why didn't you make this into a bike for everyone instead of the limited numbers and then stopping production. Now they are going to do it finally. Should be bloody interesting

I'll wager you the team weren't to happy. This on it's first outing with a new rider for next year. That bike is Fucked!!!!!

What a find, frame 001, the very first NSV just taken out of it's box after 20 years.

And a nice ending for you all. Well it's December and that means travelling away and seeing people and family. I've got the fixings for a Christmas blog, we will have to wait and see. Cheers
