Hi there Champions, not away this weekend, so the blog will finally go out on time for a change. It's been a very bust few weeks, what with medicals, blood tests, trips to Wellington to visit people, do some business, trips to pick up bikes and drop bikes off, and still a few weeks of that to come it would seem. Picking the Guzzi up to take to its final garage to get finally plugged in properly, tightened up and tuned. Got the garage underway finally, resource consent issued, retaining walls about to start, finalizing garage quotes, so I think I am about 3 months away from having a shed back again. This means that I can finally get on with work, and get these bikes out of the house. Just about to buy another 888 as well, the more I see them the more I figure they are the next Ducati off of the desirable rank to have list, so a well restored 888 is in the offing. It will be good to spend a winter in the garage working again. It's been a long time coming.

Now I do like this BMW, very nice wee jigger

Just saw one of these go for 135000 pounds, that's getting up there, I recall them being $3200 when they came out

John Kosinski can still chuck it in

Nice work to this Guzzi
Unmistakable really

Craig has just bought one of these, it's a nice motorcycle

Spent an afternoon in a little cafe here, it was very pleasant

Don't order it any other way than rare
My all time favorite city, can't wait to get back there

Each to their own, I guess. Sometimes you can actually get it wrong, but it's his bike and that was what he wanted.

A masterpiece of Italian engineering, oh what could have been if they had produced it for the road

I do like thewse a lot. When they came out, it was a revelation, and boy did we thrash them all over the country

When electric goes south, it goes south really quick

Just beautiful

One of the prettiest color schemes that Honda came out with, I just love the simplicity of these race bikes. nothing there for the sake of it, just about going as fast as you possibly could.

Over in Japan have built some lovely bikes, they always have a brutal look to them.

This was the angle that i liked the most when I decided to buy my one. These are a seriously cool motorcycle

I remember my first ride in a genuine SLR, it was brutal

Love love this place

High wide and handsome

They dont half pack the shit in

The best looking race bike ever IMHO

That's it for this week, sitting here getting a sore back, wishing that it was me in the image above. need a ride that's for sure. So champions get out there on the road, or in the garage and have a great time. See you all soon. Be kind to one another, life is to fucking short to twisted into a knot.

  4. your end note ,"life is short ",been to a few motorcyclists funerals (cause, older age),a sobering thought is when they refer to their life as a "dash" ,that hits hard as in some ways that is what it is as we rush around doing shit .yes ,ride
