Sitting here pondering what to do with my life, so many decisions to be made, it's almost getting on top of me. So thought lets put out a blog and see how I feel afterwards. So far so good. Got to thinking about the make up of this blog, most are of images that I like, so great shots pf motorcycles, some are of differing color schemes to give you all some inspiration, some beautiful woman, some shots whimsical, some not but all beautiful. Yachts too, I like these because they harness raw power and it amazes me that these massive things can move along so well. Food... well I find food images are always well taken and always look bloody delicious. Engines, cars, they are there because in their own way they are beautiful as well, so I always try and pop a few in. Some images just amaze me that man can turn a sheet of metal into something so visceral, so well formed and shaped, it always amazes me that there are people that have that talent. I can paint a painting and carve a bit of stone, but metal masters, well they blow me away. The shape of a tank, beaten with a soft hammer and a bag full of sand, rolled and twisted into something that makes you think : how they fuck did they do that"? I look at the tank of the 916 and think to myself that is perfect, formed to not only look great, but to work as well. I have a 750 Fi that has a hand beaten tank ( one of the first ones made), you can still see the hammer marks on the underside of the tank. I got offered 5K for that, but it's not for sale, anyway it makes me wonder how on earth did you mold that metal into that shape and make it so perfect? I guess that's why I've always been attracted to motorcycles, they are all amazing feats of engineering in their own way, and nearly every motorcycle has this built in engineered quality that I appreciate. I don't like the Honda PC800 however, that's just wrong. I've just spent a few weeks helping a mate turn a S2 Ducati into a Mille GT, I did the colour scheme, and now when you look at the bike, it's a handsome bastard, it just sits there looking strong and masculine. I like that, that you can draw that out of a motorcycle. So there you go, some of the reasons why I like the images I put up for your enjoyment, hope you continue to enjoy them as I do.

Kawasaki always did great colors.

dare I say it? I understand that Britten and the reasons behind it, I saw some of the bike being designed and made and appreciate the effort that went into. But it's never really grabbed me. You know, I never fell head over heals with it, probably because the 916 came out at the same time and I was totally distracted and smitten with that bike. That was perfect.

Another kiwi made motorcycle, that kind of went under the radar. The Konig. Google it and you will find a great but sad story to this wonderful motorcycle

Honda has a new race toy, the recalcitrant MotoGP motorcycle. But it is stunning in its own way. Love the Aero this year.

Suzuki made a great looking bike too. Pity they puled out, such a shame, but what a motorcycle

You need to keep them cool as is evident by the size of the radiators.

Jacks KTM, with a very small homage to his kiwi family. He's most definitely an Aussie, but there is a kiwi back ground to the man.

 Here's the GT/S2 that was just finished, it's  stunner. If's a little rough around the edges, but that will get sorted out in due time. Otherwise it's bloody nice. I love the modern disc setup, it just seems to suit ththe bike so well. Oh and then there is perhaps the nicest throttle action I.ve ever felt.
