2020....... well thats another decade done and dusted. Happy new year to you all and welcome back to my little corner of the world. Wasn't too sure if I was going to continue with the blog this year as it seems to be taking longer and longer to put together, and I have a whole bunch of projects to get underway and to get finished, but here I am again, and I hope you will stick with this blog for the foreseeable future. I bumped into plenty of people at Wanganui who seem to enjoy it still and have managed to glean some inspiration from the images contained here. So i guess that's a win, as that was what it was originally here for. And speaking of cafe style motorcycles, I'm thinking about trading the KTM GT for a BMW R nine T. I was severely under the influence in Wanganui and there under the foyer lighting sat a cafe R Nine T, absolutely bog standard, and it pretty much stopped me in my confused state for about 1/2 an hour. I just couldn't see anything wrong with the bike, the finish, the style, the build quality, everything about it looked very nice, and I know what these big engines go like, so you never know, at some stage in the next few months I may just be riding around on one of these. lets wait and see what happens. In this blog you will see some images of my forever bike, the Moto Guzzi T3 that has just appeared back out of paint. The engines away having some magic weaved into it, so that's my current project, while I wait for some more bevels from japan. Sooooo any hows, here it is, enjoy, share, like follow, what ever, lets get my readership and veiwing up for 2020. Enjoy

Hard to believe that i bough this for $2500, what a beautiful motorcycle it was/is.
Where's that helmet, wrapped around some gang members head, filthy, scratched, unclean, destroyed, the bastards

Classy

Sorry not for me

Noooooohhhhhhhh

Lust after these, and if you find one, buy it

They are a pretty cool motorcycle
Classic sign

This year, I will be on this road

Unmistakable

This was the bike, that really got me going back on Guzzi again, perfect, not to flash, but sweet enough to stop you in your tracks, Lovely work

Me and some of my riding buddies at Wanganui this year. great day

The Lizards on the last 0f 2019 summer ride, it was a great weekend away

Paint, paint paint

More of the same, pity it has to be redone, ( personal reasons), it will still look the same, just a few modifications to it that's all, just to suit me  Ok Ok, I got the decals from side to side out of alignment by about 5 mm, you would never notice it, but I do, so i will re do it once the bike is up and running

Now I really like this

Gotta have the yellow scabs on it.

That's it, some new parts have arrived ,so I'm off to see what has turned up and whether I have anything to do for the rest of the afternoon, might be time for afternoon kip.

  1. I would just like to say that I look forward to your blog every week or so and would miss it if you drop it. There is an eclectic mix of photos area often very fascinating. I got sucked into it with the lady pictures and stay with it because of the bike "porn".

Please keep it up, I really enjoy it.

    Thanks

  2. Yeah, stick with the blog Grant. It’s the highlight of the week for me.
As an aside I once owned the RD500LC. Can’t pick one up in the UK these days.
Saw one in a shop recently with just two miles on the clock. (What a waste)
