Well another long weekend is upon us. Not much riding happening as everyone is off doing other things. I think if must be time to go hit the river and see what happens. Time is a wasting not to be on the river. So I'm sitting here basically wasting the day., and once I get a couple of chores out the way in the next couple of days, I think I'll head down and clear my head. I've got a big restoration coming into the shop and am looking forward to getting into that. As a result of this bike coming in, I have managed to find a whole bunch more of suppliers around the world as you look for the best prices for parts. It help immensely when a friend has just done a bike and has passed onto me some sites that I did not know even existed. I love technology, sit at your dining table and buy a whole bike from the comfort of your own home. And some of the part are very very hard to find. Main stream suppliers ill tell you no longer available, but then all of a sudden there they are. Have to say though $3K for an exhaust system is getting up there, but when you want NOS it's vital to a restoration to have those parts. To take this further it's also amazing to find talented artisans in your own back yard that do amazing work too. Painters, engineers, you scratch the surface and there they are. The only thing we dont have here is good quality chromer's who work for a reasonable price. For example I have two small rings that fit around a lower fork stanchion that hold the speedo drive and brake lines in place. $250 to refurbish and chrome. To buy NOS still in their wrapping $95. Doesn't make any sense , but there you go. Anyways enough, enough, get on with the blog, here it is.....enjoy

That's all for now, enjoy your weekends champions, see you all again soon.
