Hello and welcome to the blog. Been a good week, got my paint back from the shop for the Scuderia, and its looking pretty good, but have spent most of the week toying with the Guzzi, getting it ready for a lizard ride coming up soon. Not entirely confidant that it will make the entire ride but in for a penny in for a pound, and lets go. Nothing like an adventure, it's running OK, but every time I hear something or feel something I get just a little anxious. It's started to leak oil out of the left hand side swingarm pivot, this is strange but I can only presume that it is the rear gearbox seal that is leaking and the oil that is escaping is running through into the swingarm pivot and across to the other side. I'll just keep an eye on the gearbox level and keep on going. Well my predictions came true, the Guzzi failed to proceed on the ride in the weekend, it, did 700 odd k's before i notice a slight leak, then all of a sudden, it was pissing out, so turned it off, put it on the trailer and finished the trip in the VW.  We stayed at a place called Akitio, a small village on the East coast at the top of the Wairarapa. Amazing hosts, who could not do enough for us. Their young son, caught the crayfish, the Paua, and the venison for our Saturday night feast. The have set up the old shearing quarters as accommodation and it will take about 25 odd people. Just stunning, the roads are amazing, some gravel if your that way inclined, but mostly tar seal. I can't recommend this place enough. You can find them on the web on book a Bach Marainanga Station accommodation. I love it when places that you have never been come up on a ride, and all of a sudden, you are seeing a part of the country that you've never seen before. have to say the entire country is looking very green and lush at present, every corner presented a picture perfect view of how we think the country should look. So go visit this place, its beautiful. A reminder of how we used to live
And speaking of which lets keep on going, here is this weeks blog for you all.

  5. Thanks as always. Good luck with the T3. Mine was the clutch pushrod seal between the transmission casing and the bell housing. I got a "six oring" fix from a guy in Maryland, USA.
